My crippling sense of self-reverence barely edged out my seething hatred of
"blogs", and the result is this online journal of my non-adventures in Japan. In
other words, "BLAH BLAH BLAH Look at ME! I have a WEB JOURNAL! I'm in a FOREIGN
COUNTRY! I'm IMPORTANT! BLAH BLAH BLAH"
*NOTE: The events described in
this journal are entirely fictional. At least the parts that my mother doesn't
like, and the parts that describe activities that are even somewhat illegal. Or
the parts that my superiors might deem misrepresentative of JET or Japan in
general. Or the parts I retroactively declare lame. The rest is probably
true.

Thrill to the writings of people who are significantly not me!
Yohei Katazuki's Corner
In an effort to encourage Yohei, one of the students I'm tutoring, to write in English more, I've agreed to let him contribute to my website here. I've told him he can write anything he wants, as long as it's in English. So let's give this brave 14 year-old a hand, for the louder our applause, the more covert our mockery may be!
I've been amassing a pretty steady collection of amusingly mutated English ever since coming to Japan, thanks to my handy digital camera and the nearby mall. Enjoy. (Apologies and much appreciation to Engrish.com
Surprisingly, despite writing about it on the Internet, that bastion of integrity and credibility, I do not know EVERYTHING about Japan. Contained in this section are some people who do. Or at least, I'll say they do, because, quite frankly, I'll say anything for one dollar.
Miscellaneous stuff about this site. Sign/view the guestbook, see how many dozens and dozens of people have visited this site, or send me wonderful gushing fan mail. Or if you're really bored, you can move your mouse really fast over the picture and make it look like Hello Kitty is dancing. Truly, this is the most useful section ever.
